ANECDOTE: BEATRICE KIMEU 08-1303

It was a cold Saturday evening at around 8pm when I was chatting with my cousins giving them a heads up on my date with the my hairdresser and what we had planned for the night .When I was fifteen maybe sixteen…no maybe fourteen actually it was when I was sixteen when I decided to my first night club. The walls were sound proof and black in colour, the lights were in different shades actually all the colours of the rainbow were represented. The music from the club was so loud that you would hear it pounding in your heart.

Everyone that entered the club was stamped as recognition to show that you paid. The stamp was placed on your left hand and when you stepped in the dance floor you could see it reflect in the different colour shades. At the corner of the club was a area that was know as “tot by tot” were drinks where in plenty.
