Gloria is my friend but when she was growing up life was not easy. At the age of four after joining nursery school she found out her friends had both a mother and a father. This was news to her all she knew is an aunt. We became best friends but explaining these terms to her was challenging to me. What I knew is I had a mother and a father, besides I also had an aunt unlike her who was missing something in her life. Pain was what she experienced after making a decision she is not sure she regrets or is in denial of the answer she got from it. After gathering enough courage she asked her beloved aunt where her mother and father were. “Your mother is a murderer and she is in jail for killing your father,” this word are part of her to date and though people think she is a strong willed girl inside her she bleeds in pain and is very broken. I look at her sometimes and wish I could erase that day in her life. The words we use are strong and harmful once a happy girl all that remains of her is her strong will to hide her problems in a beautiful smile which is all plastic. We should be careful what we say to others.
Sad what your friend went through. Glad you made the post, though. You're the only one who did. That deserves some recognition.
